the cruising speed is 60 knots and at that speed you can travel around 380 nautical miles which is 437 miles. But at a constant speed of 9 knots you can make it to a 1500 nm which is 1726 miles.

@olivierbrewaeys Not impossible, Improbable. When a sailboat breaks beyond the speed the wind is actually blowing; It actually starts creating its "own" wind. If a sailboat were to sail 11knots in 10knots of wind on a close-haul the wind hitting the Luff is actually (roughly) 21knots. so It's as if the boat is sailing in 21knots with a close haul. And with the right hull design, sail dynamics and impressive sailing, it is very possible. But I would LOVE to see a video :)
