If they are proper instructors and they feel you should be allowed to pass,you will then receive the spray.REDWEB. The only totally legal,ACPO reg forensically medically tested ID marker in the UK.You will be licensed and have your details on the police data base.

Stoppa Red is also another spray that has not had all the checks done,and is also not ACPO registered ect ect.

Most of the shops like Niton will tell you it is legal,Yes it is legal to have.The owner was a policeman,and that he feels gives him credibility.

ACPO will tell you otherwise.

Use it is another thing.

Any personal protection spray needs to have all of what I stated on the youtube site.

People need to know the fact,and not find out the TRUE facts after use of the spray dyes.

First,I am ex forces and a professional,I teach conflict management among other things, it is manners to make formal contact starting with Hello.

Second,you cannot just go buy the spray off the shelf like the(Alleged Legal) sprays you will get arrested,maybe a human rights charge also

Third.

What is your profession and why do you wish to have any form of spray?

I can then lead you to where you can inquire about getting A.C.P.O approved registered and a totaly legal spray to have carry and use.

Was the defendo spray you used very similar to this one?

What did it do? What happened to those you sprayed too? Can it be used efficiently on 3-4 people?

I recently found out even pepper spray is illegal in the UK , i just couldn't believe it, criminals have all the weapons at their disposal (illegal obviously) and the honest citizen is left defenseless (a victim).

Trouble I can see with this product is that unless it instantly debilitates an attacker like CS or mace it would only serve to make the attacker angrier and determined to mess you up. So, unless you take out the attacker first then spray him/her its pretty much useless.

I carry a can when I go walking mostly. Nearly got a chance to use it recently but my so called attacker failed to live up to his mouth and got back in his mate's car. Shame cos I'd like to see how it'd work as self defence.

JJR I've watched your vids and appreciate the hard work you do in sharing your knowledge.

No offense meant, but the lack of legal personal defense in your country is disturbing to me. Here I have the right to defend myself to the death. I carry a handgun & 6" fixed blade knife. I've NEVER had to use either in self defense.

I wish you had these rights as well. Criminals prey on unarmed citizens.

I'm thinking of getting something like this, but I can't help feeling that something like deodorant or furniture polish would be more effective! Obviously, these cans are much bigger, (especially the polish...) and emit a wider fan of spray, but if there was only a way to make them release more of a jet. I will get something like this, as I've been threatened and even attacked by someone in my village, but I'm still not at all comfortable with the idea of not being armed. This country sucks!

Unfortunately its this stupid human rights act that is stopping us from having the right to protect ourselves, if you was to use something like deodorant it would be you who would get done by the police, pathetic isn't it. I've been looking at getting this too. Apparently it sprays upto 4 metres, and only a tenner. Either that or risk buying some pepper spray from America.

I'm doing an Urban Krav Maga class now, and will probably take up KFM & Kickboxing too. Sod it, if I can't use a tool to protect myself, I'll learn to do it with the body my Mother made for me!

I law enforcement we had to be certified with capsicum pepper spray before we could carry it on duty. To complete the course you were sprayed in the face at 2 feet to understand what it would do.

If you test it let us know how long it lasts. I have a green defence foam spray. I tested it on my arm and left it for a minute or two. It washed straight off, so I'd be interested to hear if yours is better.
