I believe anything is theoretically possible, however my only concern is that if we were to indeed loop through an apparatus(a wormhole for example) we have no idea where we will be spat out, and that is exactly why I wouldn't care to know.

While traveling into the future by traveling at the speed of light sounds possible in use of frame theory we don't really see what happens when acceleration is changed thus changing our frame. So one can't help but wonder what would happen if person A jetted out to some planet near the speed of light in an x' frame did a loop thus changing their acceleration a lot and entering some new frame then when they jet back to earth stopping would cause a change back to our frame x. time travel is not possible. because time itself is a theory. Time doesn't really exist. there is only now. We measure how the sun travels and we use these measurments to better understand our everyday mundane lives. Real time travel would be determined by how fast 1 can get from point a to b. And even then you would just be moving really fast now. not traveling through time

I feel like traveling to the future is possible by almost meeting the speed of light at that speed we would eventually be hundreds of years into the future although I deem traveling back most likely impossible. The reason I think traveling to the future may be possible is because it should not effect us on our timeline if someone in the future went forward in time then they have not broken the laws of physics by going near to the speed of light. It's not question whether time travel is possible that matters, it is the question whether us humans won't destroy ourselves before we have the technology to do that, like you said.
I read what the study was talking about and to be completely honest, SxePhil didn't know what he was talking about. It's always been known that nothing with mass can travel faster than light because its mass would become infinite, but that has nothing to do with time travel. Plus, the study was done by China who have an official "It's illegal to time travel" policy.
I wrote this comment before I finished the video, so now I know you also stated that we've known for a while we can't go faster than light. That being said, there are a lot of theories about paradoxes in time travel that would sort of auto-correct the timeline, such as the many worlds theory and the one that says that you can travel back to the past and change whatever you want to, but that won't effect your timeline, you would just be screwing with someone else's timeline.

time travellling to the past is not possible even if we had the technology because we cannot redo what has already happened and we cannot redo the people or the place, its just not possible.
but time travelling oto the future is possible but you would be taken out of your pl;ace on earth the day you left for the future. so when you went back to earth in the future; people would think you were gone for a very very very long time.

I feel like traveling to the future is possible by almost meeting the speed of light at that speed we would eventually be hundreds of years into the future although I deem traveling back most likely impossible. The reason I think traveling to the future may be possible is because it should not effect us on our timeline if someone in the future went forward in time then they have not broken the laws of physics by going near to the speed of light. Unless they tried to get back and destroyed all.

of course it will be avaliable to travel in time in 1000 millions of years in the future we may found out because if you think about it one time in history we though it was impossible that the earth was round and our human brain couldnt get it right we didnt understand same thing about cars we though if we drove over 50 we would get crazy or travel in time .. so right now nobody thinks we can because our human brains arent developed enough to understand such a big question one day it'll happen

There is a speed faster than the the speed of light, I'm not sure of what all he said but see the curiosity episode about parallel universes. The scientist with the rocks and the conveyor belt eventually talking about the universe expanding faster than the speed of light.

say one person walks 10ft then turns around and walks back the 10 ft now they are in the start point, but they have travelled 20ft. the same principle applys when travelling at different speeds

I read what the study was talking about and to be completely honest, SxePhil didn't know what he was talking about. It's always been known that nothing with mass can travel faster than light because its mass would become infinite, but that has nothing to do with time travel. Plus, the study was done by China who have an official "It's illegal to time travel" policy.

I wrote this comment before I finished the video, so now I know you also stated that we've known for a while we can't go faster than light. That being said, there are a lot of theories about paradoxes in time travel that would sort of auto-correct the timeline, such as the many worlds theory and the one that says that you can travel back to the past and change whatever you want to, but that won't effect your timeline, you would just be screwing with someone else's timeline.

there is a highly controverted theory where you travel .9999 the speed of light, thus creating a red shift (all light seems to slow down since you speed up and it turns red) in a space ship with ENORMOUS mass to create a wake effect (a swelling of space immediately following the ship) after the wake builds, it begins to push the ship further ahead in the same amount of time, and since speed is judged by the distance an object travels over time, the ship actually passes the speed of light... js.
