after you apply your base foundation, do you apply your concealer, then your contour and highlight. or should i be putting my concealer on first, then my base in this case?
yes, conceal everything that needs concealing first -- then base foundation, this should even everything out. then conctour, highlight, and color away :)
its not necessary, t just adds more dimention to your look. Great for evening looks aswell. Contouring just makes certain feature pop, like if you want a more prominent cheekbone, or narrower jawline, or forehead, or a more narrow nose. Then you can contour and highlite to achieve those. Otherwise, foundation and blush or bonzer is just fine.
Hey EnKore, you are really cute and sexy, if you come ever want to come to Europe (if you have a boyfriend I hope that this text will not make him angry ...),just notice me ;-) . I know that this is not the right place for saying that, but after seeing your videos I felt I had to. Hugs !
Love the very natural looking finish! (have seen many people doing way too much of contouring, looking really scary...) I have heard that contouring is strictly reserved for the evening look--it must be not true, right? Would you make the contrast stronger for the evening look? Thank you!
yes youre correct - definitely, intensity is key depending on lighting and time of day. More intense for evening look and ambient lighting, and subtle for daytime.
highlighting the nose?..does applying a lighter shade of concealer in the middle *the bridge* of nose work as well as what you did with applying darker shade on the sides?..thanks!
Another Great vid From Ur's truly. I love love love the way u make it so that ur average person can do it too. That it is possible for us to do it. Many Thanks Keep em coming Hun.
Wow the art of contouring. I always wanted to do this but didn't know how to. I also would like to hear about your experience on how you became a make up artist, like training and such for people like me who would like to follow on your footsteps.
I agree with neverknowsbest17, it would be nice to see this technique or any make up tutorial being done on darker skin :) Great tutorial by the way, but I didn't see much of a difference...(maybe you're not supposed to?)
sorry devilnangel - somehow you can't see it well here on Youtube. if you watch the Veronica Lake Hair & Makeup vids, you will see the contours better.
I just watched it now, and somehow it's not showing as much here in YouTube! I wonder what happened. Any way - the tips and trick still there, ya get the drift :)

hi :)
is contouring,blushing,and highlighting all necessary?
i mean i only want to wear foundation to make my skin even and hide my acne so do you really need to do all that after my foundation?

some people say you should apply powder in a "3" motion... you know like around the eye to the cheek & then from the cheek to the jaw bone.

are you using liquid or powder?

In this video I used cream. You can also use powder. The new sculpt & shaper duos are excellent contouring powders.

mandideleon 4 years ago
if you have tan or darker skin tone - sure! just make sure you blend it really well, so you dont look like you have a white stripe on your nose :)

mzmzitiza 4 years ago
try an NC 30 or 35 for contouring
EnKoreMakeup 4 years ago
Oh yeah - you can also use bronzers to contour. Or Skinfinish in Medium-Dark.
