oh ya capital ship and + are immune so jamming, warp jamming, sensor jamming/blocking you need highly trained skills and scrips to jam or block anything on a capital ship or higher.

actually only supercaps and titans are immune to ECM of any kind and the only way to stop it from warp is interdiction meaning HIC and interdictors

Well one lesson i learned in eve travel in diverse groups, because there is no true omni-tanks immune to everything, there are scrips, ECM ships with bonuses, there is no way you can make a ship that can handle everything, how Clear Skies manages to survive empire space with 1400's, no drones, no tracking computer, no omni-tank spec for there shields, no nos, or nuet.....nah they got kill board written all over them.

there are tanks out there that can handle small engagements but if your primary your going to do no matter what.

clear skies was tanked for thermal and kin dmg which is what they do so yeah they could of tanked them for awhile but there tank was about to break thats why they used the MWD to the gate to jump but for some reason they had no aggression timer

Well in clear skies 1 there where specked there shield against Em, but not Exp, and there ship tanked only for 2min, ya in CS 2 they had well fitted ship against Gellente with insane thermal resistance, and well learned from there first run in being a sensor booster but with 1400's you could easily take them down with small ships at the start, none can deny the volley power of clear Skies but how many ships in Empire space of all don't move.

They probably used the (I think) Singularity Server. Everything is 100 isk and all skills train in 5 seconds or something.

Actually, as a Tier 3 battleship, platinum insurance on a Maelstrom would cost about 40 million. Tier 2 ships (like the Tempest) are about 31 million.

Got to admit, I'd occasionally thought myself that a Tempest looked like a Maelstrom only half-finished.
