To clear up the arguements: this is part of a three-song demo that circulated in 1997 called "the Determined demo." It was leaked as being Cobain, Courtney Love and Patty Schemel in 1993. No one ever confirmed if it was real or fake but in 2008, Patty confirmed it was NOT Nirvana or her, Kurt and Courtney. A band recently owned up to faking it.

Although, this sound quality is reminiscent of early Nirvana, but the structure of the song is Nevermindish, so I doubt very much that it's Nirvana, however it's definitely heavily influenced by Nirvana.
