This is an awesome trailer! I like the idea of Erestor staying in Middle Earth, and living the situations you depicted - after all, there were good (from the pov of JRRT's Valar) reasons to make his "ban" permanent! But Erestor would not be one to fade..

Erestor does stay for a time in Middle-Earth, though I have him leaving for Valinor with the son's of Elrond, Maglor, and his son a few years after Aragorn's death. So, he doesn't fade, I agree with you he's too tough an elf to fade :D
