  • remembering my stepmom's simple japanese home cooking i was looking for a little mix of her most common dishes: curryrice, dashi misoshiru with daikon, and ochazuke. this kinda feels like a mix of all, so im sure it'll satisfy my hunger. thanks so much!!!!!

  • @jiiukazeninare you are welcome :D

  • hi ochikeron! 超美味しそう!if i want to add in a meat, what meat will you recommend and should i fry it in the frying pan with the daikon and aburaage or should i just place the raw meat in the rice cooker?

  • @jaytxu fry them! i recommend pork but chicken would be good ;)

  • Ochi-san, I enjoy watching your videos. You give me inspiration to cook Japanese food. :) also, you are very pretty.

  • @yzzianess great to hear that i inspired you to cook japanese foods! that is what i am doing! i want many people to try japanese foods. i know it is sometimes hard to find all ingredients but thanks to the Internet, i find most of the seasonings online :D not the vegetables, though. haha

  • @ochikeron yes, that is the only dilemma that I am having. some ingredients are not available here in the Philippines. but the good thing is that, I found a Japanese food stall that sells in one of the malls in the metro. So, for Christmas, I will give myself a treat and hoard lots of Japanese seasonings. =D I am sooo happy that TJ-san introduced me to your channel (he was my student for an English online lesson) . Now, I can have Japanese food anytime I want without costing me a fortune. =D

  • @yzzianess oh, my darling did?! how nice to talk to you ;D and glad to know that some ingredients are available at the food stall! i know they are expensive, though... so i hope japanese foods become popular and available anywhere!!!

  • @ochikeron Yes, he did. =) yes, they cost more than usual seasonings, but, in the long run, it is more practical to cook your own Japanese food than go to the restaurant because here in the Philippines, Japanese food are also quite expensive. Thanks again! i'll look forward to your next video :)

  • @yzzianess you are welcome ;) there are many recipes coming! i wish i can make them sooner. hehe
