Naseebo ji, you should sing only the easy punjabi songs of Malka-e-Turranum Noor Jehan. You did not sing this ghazal well, no where close to MT Noor jehan.
The compere of the programme delivered well his part. But, he talked about Fraz Sahib to Naseebo Laal, a gypsy girl, knows NOTHING Urdu poetry and Fraz. Even she could not EXACTLY justified with ghazal and ithe application of words with the correct sophistication. Naseebo is fine with Punjabi language. Whose morality are we talking here? Ours or Naseebo's. Think about it? If my moral values are not so weak then it shouldn't matter what Naseebo sings. Moral values change with time. What was considered high morals and truths just a few years ago are not anymore. Also one should learn not to impose his/her morality/reality on others. Jimmy I am wonder that You really don't know about the relationship between Yahya Khan and Noor Jehan. Did you read the book "Noor Jehan and I" written by her former husband Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. He also mentioned in the book that Noor Jehan also caught with Nazar Muhammad (Cricketer and father of Mudassar Nazar) on the bed. You can easily find articles on the net. I can provide you more references if you want.
hammad i got the book and read it many times, i never could find shaukat saying 'noor jehan slept with yahya khan'i think thats not fair to 'make up' stories about others with a false reference, i got some pix of yahya khan's parties where noor jehan was invited and she sang there too..i do know the incident of nazar mahmood, but why should we discuss the personal life of a singer and not her singing talent.
