are you kidding?! When NWA/WCW first brought him in, they put him over Arn Anderson, was undefeated for the good part of the year and had a very high profile feud with Sting over the TV title. That's about as big as you can get in the states without speaking any English or cutting any promos on his own as Gary Hart cut the promos for him. Flair, Steamboat and Terry Funk dominated the Main Event scene in 1989. What else could they do with him?

Muta & Sting had great feuds. The thing is, they're actually similar in a lot of ways. Muta's quicker and more agile. He has those moves like the elbow drops that are pure joy to watch.
