I thoroughly agree with you about shaking loose of the chains to home when you go away on vacation. I do keep my cell phone handy but only for emergencies. Other than that, it's good to get away from the computer and all its time-eating activities.

Canada and USA are too big, from one coast to the other, there's millions of things to see (and to eat!!!) =D For school, well... i don't know yet if i'll have the money or not to go back on this semester, but thanks to my parents, i have free food, internet and tv!! =D 1/2 lol (lo or ol)
