I got here from the short film "Jungle Jail". A sample of this song features in that film. The short version is ok and funny in context but this one is too long and repetitive.
you know this is actually the first time listening to this song. I have his first three albums and TWO greatest hits albums. I'm thinking i should add this to the collection as well. what do y'all think?
What the fuck some dude said the version with the game is better?? R u kidding me and fuck LL kool Moe dee ripped this track all you wannabe gs pay attention
awesome i love hip house, i am not keen on hip hop house though, guess hip house has what i am looking for fun, excitement, beat, melody, and tunes we can dance to, especially 1980's chicago hip house, 5 stars
I believe a mostly instrumental version from the group Chicago Gangsters. Schooly D had a song called Gangster Boogie too but, that is different from both this song "Gangsta Boogie" as well as the Gangster Boogie Original. They all use that spoken "Gangster Boogie" Hook though. The Chicago Gangster's Version is the one sampled in LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out".

Mo Dee is where it's at, closely followed, in my opinion, by Mos Def and Common.
