Roll Away from Dusty in Nashville is perhaps one of her greatest songs of all time.To see Dusty sing this in her last T.V. performance is at once heart breaking and re-affirming... two words which perhaps sum up her entire career. She still has that magic....Love her for her stamina and soul......
Dusty in the twilight of her life and career. What a career. She went through it all. I think Neil Tennant was right when he said Dusty was not, after all is said and done, a tragic figure. She left us too soon, but this woman weathered her demons and persevered.
Definitely just too perfect! Every single solitary note she sang was so configured to perfection. her approach was that way in the studio. This segment was lip-synched but still you can tell Dusty set standards for herself and those who worked for her.
Wondeful, wonderful. Loved the duet with Michael Ball. Even in her last years, having been through her first bout of cancer, Dusty could still deliver. Great. Thanks for posting.
