Did you need to hook all the pins from the module to various components in the car for the retrofit, or do you only need a couple/not all to make it all work. For example: +12v, Switched 12v, Ground, microphone and iBUS.
Shame the carphone is out of service. You could retrofit the Siemens BITII phone or the later model curly-cord model, but the 900MHZ frequency isn't used in the US.
I had mine replaced by BMW, they were offering a good will program where if you pay the labor they replace the part for free. You will not be able to swap in a used cluster into your car. The clusters are coded with information like mileage and vin number. So the only options are to clean the contacts from the ribbon inside your cluster, or have it replaced by BMW.

It's a BMW replacement instrument cluster with chrome gauge rings and CF bezel installed.

it depends on what year your car is. Some years it is plug and play, other years requires alot of work.
