the near riot show in germany was Mannheim, August 1991...my drummer was there. He said, that Axl left stage and came back, after near a hour and he was late ath the beginning the show, too.

I can understand Izzys anger.

Mannheim was stopped after LALD because of technical difficulties, so it wasn't about Axl. Couple of days earlier he did leave the stage in Finland during WTTJ intro though.

G N R's best concert. it couldn't have been if Axl angrily walked out before ROCKET QUEEN was completely performed. It was during RQ that Axl scuffled with a videotaping fan after security guards failed to confiscate the camera themselves. In fact,many of G N R's concerts didn't completely end because stupid ass Axl insisted on starting shit with fans who threw objects at the stage and took pictures. Many other artists would not appreciate the object-throwing but they would the photography.

Actually, it was after a near riot at a show in Germany that mimicked this show that Izzy informed the band of his intentions to leave. However, he was pleasant about it and played with the band till they found Gilby Clarke at the end of '91.

Yep they did, and i actually did a little research and found they played it a few times before this: Rock in Rio II, Noblesville, and some others. But either way original GN'R is fuckin awesome, and i love em'.
