@VAULTDWELLER1O1 sure, guys have even better luck at tumbling than girls, because you have more power in your muscles then we do, whereas we generally have more flexibility and speed :)
@trinekkini hahah welcomee(: and thankks<33 hehe. and just keep working on your back flexibility and strength in your abs AND back. remember practice makes perfectt =)
ok guys...i can honestly tell you that this works..i could not do this when i started three days ago - but i can do a perfect bridge now. the BEST way to do this i think is to do it the first way - holding against the wall and moving your hands downwards so that your back stretches..one thing though - dont even attempt to go all the way down when doing it. only move your arms downwards till they are half at around half your normal height. do this for like 30 min each day, and it WILL happen.
another way is to match your thumbs togethor and then your pointing finger togethor to make a diamond shape. then stfaighten you arms enough but noy full on straight. then focus you eyes onto your 'diamond' and then start going backwards like your going to do a bend back. then follow your eyes on the diamond while your heading back :) its how my sister learnt. i learnt coz at gym my friends were talking about how fun it was. and i wanted to try it :)
errrr I always find that when i go into brigde like from laying on the floor and putting m y hands by my shoulder etc. I feel really dizzy and my arms cant hold my weight, got any help for that? Also I always seem to walk towards the wall when I do this? Thankss :)
thank you so much! i have been trying to do my back-bend from a standing position for ages and i just couldnt get it but your video really made a difference thankssss! <3
i've always wanted to do a forward walkover but can you do it on the same spot? please put a video up if you can i've seen it before if you don't know what i mean look up the video I Can Transform Ya by Chris Brown he does it near the end
First i have to say that i LOVE that song i listen to it all the time. Aand next I have been wanting to add a video for a long time, so im gonna post a front walkover vid, go watch it, but this is how you do it in the same spot::
when you are in the air you want to arch your back more, and then place your feet closer to where your hands are. so almost instead of making an upside down U shape with your body, it is like you are making more of a cirlce, almost. i hope this helped. =)
oh ok thanks :) but i still need to stretch my back coz i can't evan do a roper bridge lol, do you know how many times a day or week you have to practice stretching your back so it can be like your's or can do a walkover? :)
uhh i would say... stretch for like 10 or 20 minuets a day, and only do it every other day. thats what i learned from cheering, but i was naturally flexible, so yea haha
Wow, cool, thank you very much. I'm working on stretches for kung fu and I couldn't do this one at all. The wall method is pretty neat. Hopefully it will help me be able to do it. Walkovers look like fun too :)
Thanx :)

No Prob! Do you need any other tutorial? =)
JazzFan51X37 2 years ago
Hmmm....
If you wanted to, a cartwheel tutorial would be helpful.
Back-bends and cartwheels are both starters for many other great moves.
I'm planning to work on different styles of kip-ups once I've mastered the back-bend.
