beautiful van bro, we had a silver 1988 Dodge Ram B250 Viking Conversion with the 318 engine, it was a nice comfy van but it was a nightmare in the winter, we sold it at a dealer in White Bear Lake, MN back in 1996, I Miss It!!!!!!!!
they came with a 3.9 (239 cid) V6, 5.2 (318 cid) V8, and a 5.9 (360 cid) V8.
acutally some of the most dependable engines ever made. the 5.2 is overall the best of them, Chrysler started making the 5.2 in 1957 and used it all the way up til 2003 because of its reliablity.
hey i have a similar van can anyone plz help me. when driving and i press the gas someties it wanst to turn off and there are loud like explossion sounds comin from the botton enigine bay. almost like behind the stereo. can some plz plz help me i neede for work and is my only car :(
Essentially, I'd get a tune up on it. Sounds like its missing out on spark. PCV valve too....that sound behind your stereo you mentioned is actually the engine compartment next to your right leg.

I'd start off changing the plugs, rotor, cap....
