  • This is what you get when you take your bow to a rocket scientist to get a rest installed.... Wtf?

  • ah, uh... I think this is too uh,... complicated. And ah.. I think I'ld have to hock a kidney to ah.... buy all this uh... stuff

I am looking for the "poor archer's" version

  • quite a science and rig you have there, but if im paying for it,id like that thing used too!!..lol

  • is the nock set centre< measured between tangents?? its so hard to find a real answer on determining proper nock height on a bow. i shoot a single cam viper v7 by apa innovations, any advice would be greatly appreciated. i wish someone had one of these devices around here

  • @wayoftheblade ... my 2 cents.. since I am a newby at this, dont take what I say as gospel, and I havent been able to find a video to explain it, but the guy who tunes my bow (7 time Champ in Alabama) explained it to me.. I have a Hoyt Vantage Pro, the top of the arrow comes to the bottom of the bolt hole for the arrow rest mounting bolt. This I am told marks the center pivot point of my bow. The arrow is then held level to mark the nocking point for the loop. Then the rest is put on and aligned

  • @wayoftheblade ... my 2 cents.. pt 2. The only other video that I could find does it different, but it maybe only true on some or just newer bows:

    /watch?v=u0bMl-51Xgg&feature=related#

  • Hmmm... Definitely not a D.I.Y. job that I can do in my garage.

I'll be going down to my archery shop for this one...

Tanks for the vid, very interesting and informative.
