I think I have been downloading the wrong PC36IMG file.(from the Captian someone's link.) When I follow the video and click on the link for the PC36IMG file, it has like 20 files. How do I know whick one???

I was able to run the radio file, it updated that, then it allowed me to run the unrevoked file, then it will not load the PC36IMG, it tells me no image or wrong image. Any suggestions on that???

ok, so I get the files on my sd card, go through the steps, s is off, go to do the unrevoked forever file, it then tells me unsupported radio, update failed. installation aborted. i did dnld the radio file aswell. uggggg!

ok since there has been a update on some of the files as of 1/31/12 i can figure out why when i try to load the pc36img zip in the bootloader it says it cant find the img file for both the new hboot and the super sonic zip....took the zip off and just left pc36img and still not recognizing....s-is still off....however the radio file loaded fine....fyi...rooted using revolutionary and running cyanogen 7....please help!!

@vanity36931 @vanity36931 Try loading the 4.54.651.1 RUU in PC36IMG.zip format from the link in the description . Also remember, it's a 2 part process to un-root from Revolutionary, you need to flash the Revolutionary modified hboot S-ON tool then flash a stock RUU.

i downloaded the zip file thats around 215 Mb and when i try opening it on my coumputer it says that the file is invalid.

@jukingmaster thats because you cant open it without winrar or winzip. you dont have to open it for anything. just put it on your sd card and your finished.

Hi, I am a little confuesed. I am doing everything and it's going well until I run into a file name that isnt the same. I can turn the S off (it loads the PC3img file) and have that correct. then when you say to get the file to turn S on, it is called HBOOT6.17.zip and then my HTC says it cant find update script. What does this mean and how can I fix it? my phone has been rooted(not sure if it still isnow but just want to try to get rid of a few problems-It wont allow me to do system updates)

quick qeustion, sorry for posting her, but xda wont let me post on thier forums. i flashed rom for first time last nite, but forgot to do a backup recovery. so i'm trying to get my phone to stock so i can make a recovery and then re-flash it. using cryo 7 n it dont have market ap in it for some reason. I did notice one small thing, the software vs on my phone is4.54.... and pri vs is 2.15... will this matter or are those just updates i've given to my phone since this vid was posted couple months back?

So the unroot worked great but now after updating ect when I go to the bootloader it says main version is older would you like to reboot I said no and clicked recovery and it went to the error and had to pull battery. Any ideas??

@sugarfly808 I'd say google "sprint chat" and just activate it over chat... thats how i always do it.. rooted or not. All you need is the esn/dec number

@pshooter619 You need to go into the bootloader.... Have that zip on your sd card.... power off your phone... pull battery.. put it back in.... hold volume down and power button.. it should ask if u want to start update. If that doesn't work, make SURE it's named correctly pc36IMG and then if it still doesn't work, try a different sd card

This video was a saver. I had rooted mine Revolutionary and mistakenly thought I could just run the new Sprint updates and erase it. It did do that, however I was left with a Superuser I couldn't get rid of or change because ironically, I was left w/o the right persmissions. It also got rid of my Restore program. So I first had to redo the Restore program and then used this. Worked perfectly.Thanks!

once i reach the step of loading the "unrevoked forever son" my option saids install zip from sd, i click on unrevoked, it goes in that folder, then there is patch and something else..at the bottom it said no files found..I'm totally lost. Is it because i'm on a MAC?

They are working on a way to turn s on and I will be doing a video once it is released. I have heard people that have returned EVO's with full warranty with s off.. so i dont think it will be an issue.
