  • @bball11ho Let me start by saying I am not dissing/clowning you. I am 145 and my best right now is 455, so it is comparable...but...listen to the guy above. If you start doing it without straps your grip strength will improve so much more than what it currently is, regardless if you say it is on par right now. I ditched the straps and got way stronger in time. Try switch grip with no straps as others here have told you. Impressive regardless. Little guys gotta go big!

  • Careful with that rounded back - and give up the wrist straps and move to a switch grip. It'll help you exceed the 405lb mark.

  • Great lift man. Just remember to keep your chest up but nobody has perfect form on a max effort.

  • Nice man. I have to ask, how long did it take you to be able to DL that much? I weigh the same as you and only started DL about a month ago, my max is 210lb for 2 rep.

  • @ItalMafioso I started dead lifting in november 2010 and been doing the same thing until now. naturally the deadlift is one of my best exercises but all it is is repetition and dedication, your max will go up if you put in the right work.
