THANK you for posting this... you're so right on. Not to mention, too many people mistake the word "awe" for "aw" and forget that "awe" is actually a word, a noun meaning "a sense of wonder" and "aw" is an interjection of sympathy, disappointment, or pleasure. I do copy editing; you're correct.
