You said you're not aiming for relevant pictures but I think they are. It's an uplifting song about the empowerment of love, feeling indestructible and strong...all of those cars and ships reflect this! And lots of those pictures ARE of the sky...the sky reacting to and provoking a reaction in both natural and manmade scenery, like love. The aeroplane simile is not about being restricted to a vehicule it's the opposite: strength, freedom, release. Also, some of those cars reach aeroplane speeds!
