  • Worst tutorial ever

  • @mcosmurf14

are you insane? this was really helpful, and really slow and detailed

  • @ham123see ok maybe for you but on his next tutorial maybe you can be more detailed on each string and fret...thanks

  • you da man!

  • Great job. thanks. I like for you to get a b-bender and show how it's really, really done.

  • Great job. Thank you

  • LoL, if that was me i'd take half the strings off!, no good at Solos!!!!

  • Thanks for lesson nice Les Paul btw.

  • Not bad!

  • This solo was played with Parsons-White Pull String (B Bender). Without that, it sounds incredibly out of tune. period.

  • Very nice. I'm glad I have Telecaster with B-Bender for the rest of the song. :)

  • nice IMPROV

  • I've noticed when I bend the strings, though. I have to retune the guitar after finishing the song. Is there a special set of strings that allow for bending without taking the guitar out of tune?

  • @Joeykm1972 what guitar are u using. its more on the quality of the tuners than the strings. i dont have that problem but if u do im not really sure strings will help that much

  • @andyourbirdcansing64 It's a Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar. I use an electronic tuner, so tuning it back is pretty quick.

  • @Joeykm1972 it is most likely ur tuners the gauge could effect it but not really.

  • @Joeykm1972

Sounds to me like you've been tuning down into the note rather than tuning up into it. ie if tuning your B string (2nd string standard tuning) dont raise the note higher than B and then tune it back down lower into B. As doing this on a few of the strings can put a guitar out of tune very quickly, you also want to tune the bridge end of the guitar and store the guitar someplace with a constant temperature, metal strings and sudden changes in heat/cold will put it out fast to.

  • String bending can hurt my fingers pretty bad. Sometimes, I hammer and pull off as practice before I actually start the string bending technique.

  • Thanks for the lesson Andy. this really helps.

  • @escricky hahaha its and your bird can sing... a beatles song not andyour

  • You start half way through the solo, I am looking for the entire solo. I was taught it many years ago when I was a teenager, then put the guitar away and didn't pick it up again for about 20 years. I am trying to pick it up again.

Thanks for the tutorial, if you can do the entire solo, please post it.

  • i didnt learn the first bc improving sounds fine

  • your response did not make sense to me

  • i didnt learn the first solo bc id rather impovise. it sounds just as good that way
