The lyrics are sad and beautiful at the same time..I really like the tradition of story telling in songs and ballads..It is not only a lullaby, but also a way of sharing experiences with the child and thereby a form of explaining the world and mistakes to children/adults....

Thanks, for sharing this beautiful rendition of the song..I loved it..The little boy seemed a bit scared in the beginning, but he was comforted ...and relaxed a little in the end...(He is so small. Not, a bird yet...)
