Wow, great memory there. I remember watching this game with my dad when I was in about 8th grade, and Al repeatedly saying you can't drive against a zone---except Anderson did it 4 or 5 times and each one finished with a dunk. At least that's how I remember it.
I had a chance to play with dwight back in high school and he was way ahead of his class in terms of his athletics and skills and we were all around the same age. He could not be stopped. I love D anderson.
@lacijordan yeap im from Dayton to i was born in 1987 and all the old school people told me dwight was the jordan of dayton ohio but wat u think about Mark Baker Bum ass lol
I love the raw emotion of the broadcasters! I remember watching this game on TV. Dwight Lightning had another dunk in this game down the middle over Woolridge and Al McGuire proclaimed, "A star is born." I saw Dwight play in high school for Dayton (OH) Roth and he was the best. After UK he played at USC, avg 20 ppg as a senior. He had a cup of coffee with the NBA Nuggets. Since then he has battled demons and the streets of Dayton. This video clip shows what he could do. Pray for Dwight. Peace.

Dwight Anderson = best basketball player to ever come out of Dayton, OH
Definitely a sad story. Too bad he got mixed up with drugs. The last I heard several years ago, he was homeless in Dayton and still smoking crack.
