She has a great vocabulary of over 150 words and is stringing sentences together a lot now. Abbi was 8 month old when the hearing loss was diagnosed and she started wearing the aids. How does your son cope with them? Abbi was really good for the first few months and left them alone. She then went through a naughty phase of pulling them ot all the time and we would find them in pieces around the room! :D Luckily she has grown out of that now and asks for her 'ears' to be put in now!
My son Ryan also wears aids for a mod to severe loss in both ears. He is now 11 months and has been wearing them since a month old! He pulls them out all the time and I pull my hair out putting them back in :)
Yes they are her first pair, she has a mild/moderate hearing loss. She has difficulty picking up quiet sounds such as 'ssh' and 'th' Since having these fitted about a week ago she is babbling a lot more and a lot louder!!! She is even shouting at us and telling us off now!

How is she going with them?
My son wears one in his right ear, he is 8 months old with a severe loss. We've noticed a huge difference and are so glad he has it.
