It is possible to adjust the scan radii of all the probes using the scanner window. Just select all of the probes (using Shift + Click on top and bottom in the list), then right click and the selectable radii will be there.

To warp cloaked, get a vessel with a 99% reduction to fit 'covert ops cloaking device' and fit one of them.

Warping cloaked is based off ship-type. The covert-ops, recons and one of the transport ships can fit the covert ops device.

The skill to use that is cloaking to level 4.

If i'm in my Raven and i fitted a cloaker and i turn it on immediately out of warp to lets say a random moon @ 100km can u still find me and warp to me if i'm cloaked, what can i do to make it really really hard for you to pin me down? To make it hard/impossible to be pinned down, keep moving - or better still, cloak at a midpoint and log out. Once I see you leave local I'll bugger off and look for more targets.

I assume you've been ratting in zerozero? If I see you at the belt though, you're dead, a raven can't warp before a frigate sized tackler gets a point. If your running missions and don't want to be found in empire, just dock five minutes. People scanning missioners will then lose the scan.

Thank you so much! you've given me great info, i will give you some ISK as donation :D And yes i'm currently running lvl4 Q:35 mission in .5 sec and figuring out how to not get tackled. I always align to a station when i'm missioning justin case. How will docking for 5 minutes help me, can't they just scan me easily again once i return to the mission location? Cheers mate!

I'll give you some more good advice - in a 0.5 they can't engage you without getting concorded. Just don't shoot at them first, sure they may steal some wrecks, but have a salvager+tractorbeam on your ship (or a friend, or a second account) and loot as you go, they'll find nothing to steal and get disapointed quick.

Docking? Time is money, they'll shrink scan range and find you are gone, and hopefully look for someone easier. Watch your 360 directional scanner for SCAN PROBES, dock if you see.

You are partially correct. The maximum DEFAULT quality you can find 20. So if you have 0 agent skills you remain at 20. 20 + 0 20. But i have high agent skills so my agent is a lvl 19 by default. So 19 + (my agent skills) = 35 effective quality, or net quality. So a lvl 5 or so agent + my skills will = around 20 effective quality. get it??

What skills are these? I have most of the mission skills, and although they improve standing.. as far as I know they don't improve quality. SOme of them even improve LP gain upon completion of missions. Just curious of skills which I might not be taking advantage of. Thanks!

So long as the overlaps are correctly done before you hit scan (And lose the reading from 16au) its quite possible. Same with dropping from 4au -> 1au, just so long as the overlaps are healthy its a done deal~

Nice and fast. You know, if all the probes are selected in the menu, you can right click > set range and it will apply to all.

Your click and drag of the border seems to work faster anyway, but you said you couldn't do it from the menu when you can.

I confess this is SiSi and was actually a raven I bought for the video, ejected from it after dumping it in a deep midspot.

Had no idea where in the system to find it though, I span my window around a few times so it was honestly randomly hidden and I had no idea where.

Shame I couldn't scan someone down for real in combat but I can't afford the lag of PvP, couldn't take the risk of missing him and not getting my video filmed, or the risk of scanning down a rapier, decloaking and dying noobly~

Very hard to rely on successful filming in the field against live, human opponents who do not want to be killed.

Fly ships, make money, use that money to get together a number of different ships then if you want, engage in combat with other people in ships.

Minmatar Covert Ops by the looks of it... Any race will work, though...

I do my probing in a cheeter - same as my scouting.

Thats the minmatar covert ops - quite a nerfed fit to get half the scramble equipment fitted so that was a SiSi special~

Covert Ops is well worth it with 4/4/4 skills as it cuts scan time and error a long way~

You CAN change all the probe radiuses at once in the scan menu, you just need to keep shift pressed while doing it...

1. Click first probe

2. Press Shift and KEEP pressed

3. Click last probe

4. Right click last probe and change radius

5. release shift

6. you changed radius on all probes....

It's probably not faster than dragging the radius once you've gotten to know how far to drag it to get it where you want it... but for people getting used to the radius, its probably very good~

Tbh, I find falcons tedious (and too expensive on my very small budget). It's overkill, when you're probing someone down in combat you're usually part of a gang in which case I've got the role as Scout.

Not many people scout in falcons, but I'll conceed I've heard of it - prefer to take a CovOps though
