I saw the return leg at West Brom. Regis levelled the tie, but Sestic scored in the dying minutes to put Red Star through.

I remember seeing Red Star fans turning up in their hundreds on decrepit old coaches... driven all the way from Belgrade! The Red Star fans partied, bounced and sang their way through the entire match, waving giant flags, in the corner of the Halfords Lane stand down by the Smethwick End. It looked great fun. The atmosphere at the match was fantastic. Bloody Sestic!!

I was at the first leg. We weren't very lucky then, after beating Arsenal in the previous round, we got this great WBA team. I still remember Cyrille Regis, B Batson and especially Laurie Cunningham. After all these years of watching football, I still think he was one of the greatest players I ever saw. I am still sad that he died so young.
