Once upon a time in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix) there was a DJ on KCAC named William Compton. One late afternoon he played an extended version of Paint It Black. In the middle of the violin solo he wove in a Vivaldi piece, matching the key and time signature perfectly. Unfortunately for posterity, these live broadcasts were not recorded, or else you would have your mind twisted, turned inside out, and returned to you (eventually). I am blessed to have lived in that time.
whoops sorry drtano and ironpatriot2 i accidently gave your comments thumbs down when actually i meant to agree w/you this is a great cover! i especially like this live version.
I am also a big fan of the rolling stones but I love this recording of paint it black, he always makes the song his own, instead of repeating what is already done.
Right You are. But today still we can listen to the recordings from the past while the people in the past couldn't in any way listen to music now played. In this case we're better off.
Love the Animals, but as for here prefer the rolling stones.
