I think the whole point of the other videos is that those guys were underwater when they started their jumps. That little thing makes it just a bit harder to jump out of the pool. I'm sure that jumping 4ft out of a pool in water below your waist is quite hard. It isn't as hard as jumping out of the pool from a squatting position with water above your shoulders.
