I don't get why people compare Nehebka to Aida in this musical. Aida is a belter and an alto, and Nehebka is a beautiful soprano. They're both awesome and perfect for the part they play.

I will just be honest, I did not feel it from them. This song requires soul and emotion and so much of it that it overwhelms you and you lose yourself so much that when the end of the act comes you have completely put on a show. To me it seemed like they were trying to be too technical. Not saying that this was bad, it just wasn't what it could have been

I first want to say.... This performance made me smile inside! The true spirit in which this musical was written was truly captured. Now as a music educator, I must admit there r some serious pitch & technical problems (mainly over pushing) in the piece. But I really dont blame these childrem- I blame casting. (Clearly theres alot of harmful belting present in aida's part) Maybe the key should have been whole step lower- I've seen it wonderfully done. Wonderful job! Especially 4 the age range!

this doesnt have enough soul. the girl playing Aida was like off pitch the whole time. This song requires a lot of extra nonsense singing to give it that extra boost which this production didnt have. look up aida parkland high school. they did it amazingly.

That was just incredible. Too bad the chorus was a little overwhelmed, but that's okay because the leads are SO great. Aida and Mereb are both awesome, but Nehebka... that belting part at the end. wow. I replayed it over and over just to hear you. chills. absolutely amazing.
