Hello, one question, when you chain an odd number, do you add or subtract a stitch if your doing an even number pattern? I am doing a square patchwork tote with 20 stitch squares,I would like to alternate them with the regular tunisian stitch and the cross tunisian stitch squares. So for this one do I chain 19 or 20 stitches? I am new to Knitting and crocheting and I am really enjoying it. You videos are wonderful ! thank you so much!
@ryanperidot Why not make 19 stitch squares and change the number on the simple stitch squares? You could make one end stitch on the crossed stitch squares a simple stitch, but your pattern will be off center on the square.
@MsMegaSkittles Tunisian curls naturally. Blocking helps. a border of stitches alternating between purl and stockinette stitch will also help lessen the curl.
Hi bethintx I have a request if you would upload video of how to crochet a halloween pumpkin or a regular pumpkin...I am a very big fan of yours, for the moment I am doing a ripple blanket for my daughter ...thank you for the great videos..
Use a bigger hook or lighter weight yarn. It will not completely eliminate the curl, but it will help, then when you are finished, steam-block it. The curl will be gone.

@Msfrangipaniful I have no plans to make one at this time. Perhaps in the future.

I love the thickness of the stitch but I can't stand the curl. And I've still not gotten the hang of that long hook!!!
