However, that's not to say people couldn't begin to accept it through class consciousness and such. Of course it wouldn't work anytime soon, but it's not impossible. Check out "The Conquest of Bread" by Peter Kropotkin. Good stuff!

It could definitely work if some ideal situation arose. But just look at how people live their lives within a supposedly organized structure. Pretty piss poor wouldn't you say? Most humans are simply not accountable for themselves. The sheep need a stately shepard to guide them. And most importantly they need protection from themselves. It's an empty void for those that can see past it and salvation for most. They would rather cling to decrepit falsehoods and be kept in place.
