  • There is no argument because science is kicking religion's arrogant ass into well-deserved oblivion. :)

  • Heaven & Hell, if these places were to exist, God must be imperfect as he would not be an all loving and powerful and true God in which God should be as the "creator of all". If God were to send people because of a short life in comparison to eternity to hell, that would be very unfair and unjust. Therefore not making him the REAL TRUE God. Either heaven & hell don't exist & God is good or, do exist & you have the wrong God. Its not a matter of God is or isnt, its based on logic as far as i know

  • @TheAssass1n God is love. He loves all things good and holy and pure, and therefore hates all things evil and unholy and filthy. Heaven is reserved for those whom He chooses to save, and Hell for those whom He justly condemns. Is God fair? Well, it wasn't fair that He died on the cross for a wretch like me. No, He's not "fair," but He is just.

  • If God is the all loving and powerful BEING in which you speak, then why would he condemn non-believers for having their own opinion. Personally living this ONE life I've been given is special enough for me and that statement saying "what if I'm wrong?" YOU've wasted how much time on something that won't count for anything! It is wasting the one life you've been given on absolutely nothing. I don't think I would want to waste a precious second for nothing. As to heaven and hell - next comment.

  • @TheAssass1n How do you mean "opinion"? Do you mean disbelief in God is a mere opinion and God would be unjust to damn you for having it? That opinion is an outright rejection of Christ. God is love. He loves all things holy and good, and thus hates all things unholy and evil. He hates that opinion because it is a very bad one.

If what I believe is a lie and I waste my life, who will care? Space aliens? God gives me delight in living, and will give me delight in dying. What is wasted in that?

  • It's not a matter of space aliens or whoever caring about what you do with your life, it is YOUR life you are wasting and affects YOU, not aliens or some shit like that. As for my opinion, yes. For all you know, I could be the nicest person in the entire world but my opinion to go against the word of God would make burn eternaly. That is an unfair God. But what I'm saying is you have this life, you KNOW you have this life. SO LIVE THIS ONE. Don't waste it on another, that might not be real......

  • There would never be an argument if you would just stop thinking and speaking, listen to what you are told and blindly accept.

If you say there is to be no debate then that is what you are suggesting. "Shut up, stop thinking and blindly believe what I am telling you is true". That is how you want the world to be????

I am completely aware that winning a point doesn't mean you won the case.

You wish to just preach at people. Atheist largely are more interested at getting at truth.

  • I already got at the truth- that's why I'm preaching. ;)

  • "I already got at the truth".... thats what you think. LOL

One doesn't get at truth by simply believing stuff to be true. Do you say that you know all tuth about christianity?? can you never be wrong about anything?? I can be wrong about stuff, I know I can. Have been wrong many times. I didnt learn I was wrong by my feelings only, but by questioning my position and checking. I still end up making mistakes.

  • Under the dark sky, shines the moonlight. Blessed by Satan, I dwell within depths of hell. Powers of the devil defeating the cowardly light. The throne of god shall crumble down. The earth will be a kingdom of demons. Where life and indulgence shall rule. Those who worship holy evil will be doomed. The white sheep shall be destroyed. Rendered to pieces by the claws of Satan. A black star shines over a mighty new king. The paths to hell are clear. The lord of the pit will rule!
  • No, your on youtube to spread a hate for self and mankind.. and to slow human progress whenever you can.

Your absolutely right to say religious people have killed for their religious beliefs and that is wrong. I totally agree, it is wrong.

If your wrong you spent your 1 life giving up your free will to an imaginary being obsessed with your sex life among many other things.

If this is your one life and there is no god.. what did you lose? Time that you could have spent with your loved ones.

  • hmm... you wasted your time watching this video when you could have spent time with your loved ones- or even better- considering your own depravity and the truth that there is no such thing as free will. Your will is a slave to sin. I rely on the will of God. I'm still a sinner, but I've been redeemed. No hate there, my friend. You're looking for hate in the wrong places- perhaps you should reread your comment and others you've made to me and consider who is really speaking hateful.

  • "I'm still a sinner, but I've been redeemed." <- You hate yourself and desire to be redeemed.. Sounds like hate to me..

I do not hate religion, but I do hate.. I hate people that spend their entire life trying slow human progress via their religious beliefs. Keep it to yourself.. let other be..

  • I never said I hated myself. Your hate for me, though, is obvious and has clouded your reasoning in understanding what I said about being a sinner. I won't keep it to myself and if that bothers you then don't listen and go watch something else. I think it would do you well to consider your own soul and your need for a Redeemer- you sound like a miserable person who could use some good news.

  • Clouded is the judgment of a man, holding a book, that promises salvation by an invisible Redeemer.

The Heroes of this Earth, spend their time saving the lives of others. The Pretenders of this Earth, spend their time offering false hopes and answers.

Being a Hero, is harder than pushing your religion.

  • Winning Arguments and Debates?

Perhaps you should talk about something you have experience with.

  • Firstly, I feel sorry that you've closed yourself off from the real world and have vowed never to wake up, become rational and stop wasting your life.

I must take issue with your comments about sin, however. The concept of 'sin' is man-made. The Universe/Nature has no 'sin', humans aren't created with 'sin', nor can they ever commit one; only in the eyes of other humans is 'sin' ever committed. 'Sin' is a mind-control tool designed by authorities to keep weak-willed people under control.

  • "humans aren't created with 'sin', nor can they ever commit one"- So sin doesn't exist, but, "only in the eyes of other humans is 'sin' ever committed."- Sin exists? Make up your mind and wake up to reality- if there is no sin then the world and everyone in it would be perfect. Are you perfect? You seem like a conspiracy theorist; I've heard that baseless argument before. It's weak and paranoid.

  • I'm just glad that we never argued or debated :-)

  • ...tongue in cheek ;)

  • Almost always....

  • The evidence is the written word of God, but people close their eyes, and ears to God's written physical words, and go by the reasonings of what other evidences or arguments, debates, they can imagine.

  • I'd have to disagree with your sidebar. I consider debate pertinent to expanding & better understanding both sides. Hell, without debate I would have never moved on from the naiivete of the "new atheist" movement.

That, and being born & bred in a Jewish neighborhood with Jewish friends has given me a taste for loud, outspoken, but respectful disagreement with others.

Show some love to intelligent dissent. ;)

  • I'll have discussions back and forth with people, but there is a line between discussion and debate. I'm all for open discussion and the dismantling and analysis of a given topic. What I wish to avoid are the potential endless banters and a direction which does not lead to self examination and confrontation with the gospel.

  • I can get that, though I (obviously) have a less Bible-centric viewpoint. If anything lends itself to criticism, then I'll criticize.

  • Good video but I'm just gonna be picky on a little thing you said brother! :D

"I'm not here to win debates, I'm here to win souls."

Okay I'm not sure if you said this on purpose or not but you can't win souls. We can only present the truth, it is God who convicts the unbelievers.

  • When I say "win souls" I mean "win souls for Christ". That is a common and accepted phrase; even with Calvinists. My pastor uses that phrase and he's a better Calvinist than I am. We all know what we mean when we say it. Although, perhaps it can be a little misleading in this venue and context.

  • bberchin; How come Number 25;9 say 24,000 died and Paul in 1 Cor. 10:8 says 23,000?

    Thank you

  • Hell is a city located in Livingston County Michigan. (;

  • lol. What's the population? :0

  • Wikipedia:

Hell, Michigan is an unincorporated community in Putnam Township of Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community is near the border with Washtenaw County, about 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor. Hell is situated five miles west of Pinckney via Patterson Lake Road. The community is served by the Pinckney post office with ZIP Code 48169. The unofficial population is 266.

  • So... I guess Hell freezes over every year. ;)

  • lol. (:

  • There's a Hell in the Cayman Islands. I've been there.

  • You've been to Hell and back again? ;)

  • Brett, all the atheists have is their typical list of debate answers and objections to theism. You reach a point when you hear this same crap over and over, and it gets old. Many of which have been answered or shown to be fallacious.

Those who choose to follow Christ and have a relationship with him, we have an experience that is very real to us. It's undeniably real. All the non-believers have is their arguments.

God is real, end of story. No debate needed.

  • I agree, but as much as I can I try to tear down the barriers of the adversarial model that drives this forum and try to get at the truth. I only wish to treat all people like people and for them to treat me the same. That sets the stage for a good opportunity to share the gospel and they can either receive Christ or reject Him, but hopefully they won't reject Him because they are rejecting me. The adversarial model puts me too much under the light of scrutiny rather themselves and the gospel.

  • Bberchin, since you're an adherent of Calvinism, you believe that at least some of those you're counseling to cry out to God for mercy will never receive mercy because God has ordained them to be destroyed, isn't that correct?

    And just a note: that's a question, not a debate. ;-)

  • Yes, you're correct. That's why I mentioned "if ever" when I gave examples of His timing in answering. What is really amazing is that He saves ANYONE at all. We've all sinned and come short of His glory.

  • About the fact that Islam does seem more violent today than Christianity, well yes, but as you said yourself i'd bring up, in history christians have done similiar things... And even if YOU think it's wrong according to you, they were just as much christians as you are and they did it because of christianity, therefore it's just as much christianity as the murders bu muslims today are islam.

Lastly about pascals wager, if ANY other religion is right you will be tourtured too, why not take them?

  • "And even if YOU think it's wrong according to you"- No, I addressed that. They weren't wrong according to me, they were wrong according to the scriptures; the word of God. Look at all other religions and tell me that they submit to a holy God who saves sinners by grace ALONE apart from works- you can't- why? Because that kind of idea goes against our nature and man only invents things which enable him to ignore his sin nature and exalt himself.

  • I wont reply on the killing thing since you don't want a debate, and i honestly don't need to prove myself to you.

However i respect your position, you're allowed to not find it worth it to start debating ahteists such as myself, i of course clearly disagree with what you believe in but i dont see any reason to get risk getting on unfriendly terms over it, since you seem more or less laid back and not the yokeup type.

Hope you have a wonderful day-

  • Hello, i am an ahteist and i will try not to start a debate, since you said you dislike doing them. However i will do my best at answering some of what you've said in a short form so that you might understand my position.

I realize the scripture you read said not to fight by the flesh... but debates are not of the flesh they're of the mind, and jesus also told you to always be ready to answer any questions about your religion.

  • Yes, that applys if a person is open, if they are closed mind, it ia all in vain.

  • you cannot know wether someone is open or closed minded before trying...

  • I have already tried talking with people. That is your opinion, just a while taking you will know. You can tell by what is coming out from their mind and heart, be it atheism, or whatever subject matter.

  • I would reply here, but replied to your PM instead.

    Enjoy the day

  • I am always ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within me, but I shouldn't argue. I'll state my position, I'll proclaim the gospel and let the Spirit do His work. I can't argue anyone into the faith and even if I do they won't last. Too much of the church does that and it's one reason why the church has so many problems today.

  • It is a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God. Hebrews 10:31

  • Excellent word Brett.
