  • I need some help.

Does it matter if you graph rise first, or run first?

    Please help!

  • I need help with a question. :\

"This bridge can be represented by this equation

h=-1/144x(squared) + 5/6x, where x is the horizontal distance and h being height above the water"

How the hell do I graph that.

  • you fuckin save my math lessons.

  • wow youtube would be a great math teacher

  • Thanks :)

  • thank you so much!!! ur like the only person that made sense of this!!!

  • THANK YOU. :)

  • what do i do if its x+y=-1

i thought about moving the one over, so its x-1=-y, but thats just as confusing and innacurate

  • Your video is the only one that makes this graphing linear equations seems effortlessly. Thank yoooooooou.

  • my equation is 7x+6y=30 how would i find the slope an y-int. if possible ???

  • WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wow this video helped me greatfully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats waht im talking bout lol.

  • Fuck my teacher teaches me longer solutions this is great it's like a short-cut method damn you i need to at my house be my tutor.

  • thankyou so much!!!!! you are an amazing teacherr!

  • Omg...after 1 year of sitting in my class going "wtf" I finally get it....fuck 1 semester of math, more like 1 day on Youtube

  • that smiley face of yours is hysterical (XD)

  • This helped me SOOOOOO Much THANK YOU!

  • I love you ! Why can't you be my math teacher !?

  • Awesome now I understand. I'm in Year 9 Maths in Australia.

  • THANKS=)

  • Thank You! You saved me from failing my test tommorow :)

  • you make me like math more. haha can you replace my teacher please?

  • Kamsahamnida~!!

  • Thank you very much

  • i think i ge it thank you its because my teacher is so retarded he makes stuff to complicated :(

  • how do i plot m = -x ?

  • =-)

  • I love you . I wish u were

    My math teacher!

  • YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is an equation from my grade 10 text book so what would i get if my equation is 2x+y=12 and 3x - 2y=18?

  • okay well my equation is y=.29x+9

so how do i get .29 into a whole number?

  • 0.29 means 29 hundredths... so a fraction for 0.29 would be

    29/100

(This would not be a whole number because it is your slope.)

It works for any decimal, just determine the place value of the last number of the decimal.

Okay, well, there you go. :-)

  • @picrustable so i would rise 29 and run 100?

  • If your equation is y = 0.29x + 9, that would be a yes. 29/100 doesn't reduce. Rather icky equation. I suggest changing your x and y values to 10's and not 1's so it would fit on your graph.

  • Strange equations like this are not so nice for beginning students. You are more likely to see this type of equation in a business class. Hope that helps.

  • this come right out of my grade 11 text book. i'm taking it through corrospondents. im sort of self teaching with the help of youtube, and your videos.

i'm just wondeirng what i do with the 9, do i just leave it there or do i have to put that over 100 aswell?

  • @picrustable so should I end up with this

    y= 20/100 + 900

or do I just leave the 9 as a nine?

  • MrBlackDeath69

Leave the 9. I would reduce the fraction so that it is easy to see rise over run.

    :-)

    Kathryn

  • @picrustable So what do i do if the question is y = - x/4 = 6?

  • @picrustable MY problem is x-3y=9 ans I switched it around to make the y come first like you are supposed to do. It now reads y=3x-9, would before the 3x come a negative sign(-)??? So is the problem lik correct now the way it is?

  • @picrustable OMG i have a math test tomorrow on this stuff ...and this helped me soooooo much....thank you!!!!! your the best

  • @MrBlackDeath69 you're a retard

    'nough said
