If you actually checked out the site you would see that Screwattack consistently puts out more quality videos than Machinima does each day. With Machinima you have to dig through the crap just to find something worth watching. Screwattack has quality videos almost everytime. Their popularity is not proportional to their quality. My theory is that you' blindly follows the featured content and popular crap rather than forming your own opinions.
