Let's face it I honestlly couldn't give two shits what the production was like on kill uncle, for fucks sake its an amazing album! Ive never heard anything by morrissey I don't like I love him so so so so much. I have every album, all the smiths albums and I can safely say there isn't one, and there never will be one that I'm not satified with! MORRISSEY YOU ARE MY GOD/HERO/KING/IDOL/EVERYTHING!!!
@will548 I agree mate. The tunes were there, it was just quite poorly produced I think. I enjoy all bar one of the songs off kill uncle live, theyre bloody brilliant. It's the album versions lacked oomph, and sounded, to be blunt - a bit gay? And underwhelmed.
Terrific version of 'Our Frank'. I find the commenting regaurding favourtism of then to now or now to then sort of ludicrous. Morrissey is unstoppable in any era his newest record 'Years of Refusal' might be his best, but then the same can be said for each of his long players.
so is ringleader, quarry and refusal and southpaw

One of my all time favorites. Btw - this WAS a great moz era, but so was your arsenal, bona drag, and even maladjusted - yes, I said it!!!
