5a Isnt about the smoothness of the trick. What the judges are looking for is how you can manage and control the counterweight and put a trick together at the same time.
Dana seems incredibly unsmooth in this performance... He uses the 5A concepts very well, but very unsmoothly in my opinion. Overall it was pretty great, just I wish it was smoother....
my opinion the judges barely look at smoothness in 5a but how well he used the counterwieght not saying smoothness isnt important im saying its not as inportant in 5a as it is in 1a
I would consider 5a one of the hardest method at all I would have to that 2a and 3a are much harder than 5a. But anyway. That was a great FS. Very creative Tricks!
i know him personally hes a buddy of mine we liv e in same town, its 1 yoyo with a dice at one end so he can let go of the entire apparatus at times, and as for not on the same lvl, free hand yoyoing is considered the 2nd hardest method there is, other than off string
That was amazing, but I've seen all the winning vids for 1A, 2A, 3A, etc and it doesnt seem like Dana was at the same level as the others. Maybe I'm just ignorant though lol!

Yeah, he doesn't play as fast as some of the other yoyoers, but his creative style makes up for that.

4a is by far the hardest thats offstring freestyle :/ they average drops for them is 2 per performance
