who the hell is matthews?? he's a good cricketer but you're making him sound like he belongs to the category of the gilchrists, the laras, the sachins and the jayasuriyas. Muralidaran is a legend no doubt but dont start jacking off to matthews just because he won this one match. There are many one match wonders who get thrown out of the team later on. & by 2nd rate team i mean a team which has mostly inexperienced players. imagine aussies from 2000s. Lanka would drown ;)

When england beat them in aus in the CB series in 2007, they were powerful. When india beat them in australia in the CB series where sri lanka was the third team, tey were powerful. The current australian side cant even hold a candle to the side they once had 3 years ago with gilchrist and hayden and symonds.
