Hi, I had similar gear selection problems with my RWD saloon car, mainly 2nd to 3rd (or 5th as thats where it normally went!)I replaced the engine and gearbox mounts with very firm nolathane jobbies and problem solved, just engine & gearbox twisting was enough to end up in the wrong gear. Cheers.
