Very impressive illustrative skills. You have a rather American illustrative approach with a Monroe 70's influence, with prefrence in pastel and earth colors. Great work :)
hi can i know what is a copic?...and what other materials she is using for the sketch....also where in can i get these??...are they of a specific brand??
well. i did a little search for you. It seems they are fairly hard to find in india. I did find one shop tho... Its at601, Morya Park , Andheri (W)
Is in Mumbai. You can call them at 022-25740862 . Didin't find anything in smaller districts, so if that doesn't suit ask if they do courier posting. If not, buy from internet..ebay or something..
i use steadtlers...but its no fun being so neat and particular abt ur illustrations..i just loved the copics cos they give an amazing flow and speed to ur work..u can almost use tem like sketchpens..but with a better quality..
@sarah777ish I liked them too but they are a bit expensive here ( 2.5 Euro per colour.. and i'll need at least 15-20 markers ).
So i'll look for another option - have u ever tried water-colour Pencils (the ones that look like aquarelle when using a wet brush over them) ? They look nice too.
I make comics and i wanted to use copics techniques for the covers and i know that if i color it the way you do your designs, they'll catch eyes for sure. Its exactly the style of color i've been looking for!!
i think she used a combination of prisma colored pencil(green) then the copic marker ink on top using the q-tip. but i suppose the brand doesn't matter as much with regard to spreading as long as the q tip is saturated enough. but i prefer copic's alcohol smell than the yucky prisma's though lol
The brighter the color for prismacolor color pencil. It is very consistant when coloring. If you go to a local art store and use one you'll know the difference between prismacolor and crayola. if you type in "prismacolor" you can veiw their main website
is it sped up? she ios an amazing artist. im only 1 but i really enjoy art, and especially fashin illustrating. does anyone have any tips to make my work seem more lfe like.
i really like the way you illustrat it's so clean and clear i would love to illustrat lik that, but i don't like the way the pro designers illustrat it is so un clear.
Fantastic art! Video well done showing in the simplist terms different ways of doing things and even explaining clearly why it is done. Great learning tool! It's a keeper. Thanks :o)
