I don't have any kids, but when my younger sister was little I read books to her. I got bored with them and would try to make it more exciting by doing funny voices for the different characters, and my sister disliked that and complained to my parents, but they didn't care.

hahaa yess love it. Kids pick the same damn books everytime i babysit. they cant read, so what i do is just make up the story each time i read it, they never know the difference, and it gets it over in half the time. ha
