FIFA takes itself too seriously. It's boring, the gameplay is waaay too slow. It has it's good points, but it seem to miss something

PES is fun, the gameplay is fluid and a bit faster than FIFA. Today's football is about quick transitions, fast movements and fast decisions. PES gives you that, with good animations, perfect ball control and the possibility to slow down or increase game speed

The gameplay is not stiff. Movements are fluid and responsive. PES has more than 10 animations for each shooting, heading, passing, jostling... you name it.
