@awGT500 she's using chalk. there is special tailor's chalk for marking fabrics, but i've found using regular sidewalk and classroom chalk works just as well. crayons too

you know where you attached the handles/strap if you put a loop at the end of the handles where they attach you can embellish it with a thick chain across it to make it a little manlier. I'll make one of these for my 17 year old brother he'll love it.
