in order to get the apps and the home screen on Installous, you first have to open the REAL app store and download an app (doesnt matter what app, just one... free or not, whatever)

Apple apparently has activated its "kill switch" for installous. You can disable apple's kill switch by installing SMSettings or Boss Prefs.

Yes he has the right source. He didn't say he could not find the source. He said that there is a question mark next to hackulo, which means that he can see the source and everything the source has to offer, but there is a question mark next to it. Which is also what has happened to me.
