  • What line is it?

  • I missssssssssssss london! :'(

  • fuck the gap

  • Why the red line in London is soooooooooooooooo bloody hot inside?

  • the seats in the tube are like being on a couch unlike Toronto's subway wear you are siting on metal seats

  • @aylenlake17

I agree, the seats are great!

  • @mrDonVito19 The only trains with air con on the underground at present are the new Metropolitan Line S stock trains and the Victoria 2009 stock

  • @RailwayEnthusiast 2009 stock does not have air conditioning.

  • jubilee lane ?

  • pulrh I doubt it. Wonder if its even possible not to mind the gap

  • That's some gap.

  • @mrDonVito19 i dunno but in the train its usually warm inside

  • mid the gap.... i love london

  • is that a 1967TS

  • @nickhodgsonfan paddington

  • I'm soooooooooooooo glad that none of the stations I go to have that constant "mind the gap" warning. It would drive me insane!

  • este es el tren mas raro que he visto, porque Londres no renueva sus trenes?

  • Yep... It's amazing how most of the London Underground is so old yet it all still manages to work perfectly.

Well almost perfectly, good enough to get you home at least!

  • Mind the gap, please. Mind the gap, please. WE KNOW!

  • yes

  • southbound bakerloo-line train at piccadilly circus?

  • I unterstood in German

    90 8 b :D

  • nycsubway allday

  • Has anyone NOT minded the gap - and slipped between the train and platform?

  • My friendonce lost her shoe and fell in the gap :S

  • well how could anyone answer that anyway? i meen if they did slip then they'd be dead!

  • @joshymet1 only if the train set off that is

  • @pulrh

    I'm sure somebody has =p

  • @pulrh

Does my grand mother's shoe count?

  • @pulrh yup

  • @pulrh Yes they have. I've seen the pictures- they're pretty raw.

  • @pulrh --as many as 10 people dont pay attention and slip in between the platform and train. Then the train and then the train leaves and drags the person along. This happens more often at curved platforms where the gap is larger because the train cars are NOT curved. This problem has been multiplied because of the good old mobile phone conversation where the phone call matters more than life itself!

  • @pulrh yes it happens evreyday and causes lots of delays unfortuanley

  • first ever underground system and the best underground system

  • @rolo12347 the best one is in Moscow. It is not the best.

  • London underground has a certain charm to it, I'm from London and like the underground for its history and charm, I am not a fan of rush hour though, rush hour can be horrible but I guess thats the same which ever city your in.

  • Thats Baby Tube train AWWHHH SWEET and ADORABLE!

  • What station is this?

  • looks like its on the victoria line

  • The train says "Elephant & Castle" at the front. It's Bakerloo Line.

  • piccadilly circus

  • I think they look a bit bland compared to this one but, at least we'll be getting some nice streetcars soon :)

  • i love london!

  • I like that type train, he's old but I like it :)

    Stock 1972

  • damn, how could you tell?

  • mind the gap please

  • That is none sweet looking train! I wish Toronto had this :(

  • MIND THE GAP PLEASE!!!!!

  • How come every other subway system in different cities outside are so much more cleaner and more advanced than NYC's?

  • yeh and the tube is the OLDEST!

  • Exactly. I hate America -.-

  • Thumbs up to that m8!

  • yeah NTC's is Craaap i hate it is just like enter into a sauna is extreamly hot and dirty the rats are everywhere

  • But one thing to appreciate in NYC's subway are the express trains. I don't know anything comparable in any other city. (Well, Berlin gives the possibility to use regional trains between major stations, but those are only along a few routes and go probably once in 30 - 60 minutes).

  • @NotOnlySelfLover well you can catch first capital connect trains which link many stations throughout london and the country, suppose its not as good as the express NYC's though

  • no as matter of fact i do nt belive in doomsday atall as a matter of fact i moz refferin 2 the fact that stock is 2 b replaced in 2012 along wiv the piccadilly met circle and districkt line stock!!!

which in opinon there is now reason 4 it as there is nothing wrong whith current stock used!!!!!!!!!

  • gone be a shame to see them go in 2012 :(

  • What are you talking about? Or are you one of those people who believe in doomsday?

  • they are saying mind the gap because.. there is a gap in some station between the train and platform

  • Mind the gap,please!x100000000 huh!

  • It only says mind the gap whilst there's a train in the station

  • If you find this annoying... listen to the mind the gap announcement at Embankment station on the Northern Line ;)

  • Bakerloo line Piccadilly Circus station Southbound platform. Better to be safe than sorry regarding MIND THE GAP announcements, especially in London, where there are so many first-time visitors.

  • mind the gap mind the gap mind the gap .. GEEZ! how can the commuters actually STAND that sound?

  • Some lines/stations are worse than others. Most only bother to announce this when the doors open for the first time.

  • Most stations don't have a 'MIND THE GAP' announcement.

  • these 1972 (i think) tube trains are sounding pretty old and worn now...

  • And yet they still are more reliable then a 1992 stock train!

  • and why do you say that?

  • Because it's true...

The Piccadilly line 1973 Stock or the District line's D Stock are the most reliable I think, the newer ones have too much gadgets, i.e. more stuff to go wrong.

  • I dont hear a lot of failed Central Jubly Northern line trains etc. The lines maybe yes. The lines are old. But not the trains

  • Look on District Dave's Underground Forum, many of them work on LU and say that, tbh I trust them more than you!
