@maxiegomaxie the sith are similar to they empire and fall in there ranks but they are not imperials they do not take part in the political treatys such as the treaty of coruscant if a sith killed someone,the republic would dismiss it as sith carachter,but eventualy the treaty was broken
@RickAstley25 Well, a smuggler did save Coruscant from the Mandalorians where jedi could not. If you can't defeat a strong enemy through brute force, then outsmart them. That's why Han Solo always survived encounters with Boba Fett.

this is all a bit confusing, so the sith empire, repeatedly referred to as "the empire" I guess is a system of ideals that is governed by the sith philosophy that keeps showing up in the course of galactic history right? so is the empire in the original SW trilogy that same empire re-emerging, but without widespread use of the force? (btw the fact that there was once millions of jedi warriors makes the idea of one lone jedi left (luke) all the more epic)

Neither Revan, Malak, nor Bastila are in this game, as they are long dead, although one of the characters is a direct decendant from Bastila. The reason they just showed up is because in KotOR 1, that wasn't the Sith Empire, just remnants of it. The actual Sith ran off to deep space and began to build up their forces. Now they are back and fighting the Republic. No, I didn't get all this info from this one video. You have to have played the games and look some stuff up to find it all out.
For everyone who is confused, all this takes place after KotOR 1. I'm not going to talk about KotOR 2 because BioWare didn't make that one and isn't following that storyline. The blockade isn't the madalorian wars, just a blockade. All this takes place centuries after KotOR 1 and thousands of years before the movies. The "Empire" he refers to is the sith empire that has recently emerged.

Does anyone know if there is going to be anything similar to the previous MMORPG Star wars galaxies? Like will there be Vehicles, house deeds, customizable clothing options, buffs, and other stuff in the old republic? Lance Henriksen gets his voice on loads of movies and games lately lol. I guess its because he has got quite a deep but bold voice. Anyway, yeah the back story to this sounds really interesting. Ive been reading up on loads of back story to the Starwars timeline, its really quite deep. Cant wait for this new MMO. It will be a well appreciated breath of fresh air for MMOs in general. Because I have to admit, alot of MMOs out there are kinda the same, all "Sword and magic."
Bioware takes their stories very seriously.. which most should take their stories seriously because thats what makes great games. There has to be a good balance between a good storyline, gameplay and graphics.

@desertsn0wball well to me it seems like its before the original kotor, cuz I remember at comic con they were talking about it and how you go through some of the madalorian wars which happened before the original kotor, but whether it was before or after who cares, its going to be a kick ass game!

Does anyone know if there is going to be anything similar to the previous MMORPG Star wars galaxies? Like will there be Vehicles, house deeds, customizable clothing options, buffs, and other stuff in the old republic? Please someone reply cause im not sure if i want to spend 200 dollars upgrading my computer for this game...I kinda want it to be like Star Wars galaxies.

Lance Henriksen gets his voice on loads of movies and games lately lol. I guess its because he has got quite a deep but bold voice. Anyway, yeah the back story to this sounds really interesting. Ive been reading up on loads of back story to the Starwars timeline, its really quite deep. Cant wait for this new MMO. It will be a well appreciated breath of fresh air for MMOs in general. Because I have to admit, alot of MMOs out there are kinda the same, all "Sword and magic."

Bioware takes their stories very seriously.. which most should take their stories seriously because thats what makes great games. There has to be a good balance between a good storyline, gameplay and graphics.

If you would actually read up and look at more videos on this game (like the one where is talks about its instances and lvling system) you would see the extreame similarities. @chadpratch Wow... dude this isn't even close to that time. This is long before even yoda was born. There was a Counsel on Corrisant and on Dantooine, although the one on Dantooine was whipped out during the Jedi Civil War a couple hundred years before this game.
