I posted earlier in a very critical spirit. It doesn't matter how true or valuable what I said was; what matters is that it was unkind. Please accept my apologies and God bless you and the Salvation Army. I'm not an officer, but for some reason I gave someone the impression that I was or something (?)

Again, please forgive the outburst, take from the rant anything from God and please disregard my very human and disgusting behaviour.

Okay so this one caught my eye. When I was an officer I was once given a very low mark for "Salvationism" in my review. I asked about it was told "It is because you still wear you hat and the army has moved on from that" I could not belive it. I told her I felt like people who didn't wear the hat anymore are just embarassed to be ...Salvationist because it is the only thing on the uniform that says you are from The Salvation Army.

BRING BACK OUR IDENTITY, BRING BACK OUR HATS/CAPS!!!

I always called it a cap.

We are all witnesses for Jehova , or should be. The hat is part of the uniform and should be worn. It is the only part of the uniform which has a cross on it. Pity that the army has got rid of the bonnet. We might change with the world but God never changes, he is the same today as yesterday.
