If you find a bug on the ceiling or another hard place to reach, spray it with some form of liquid (if it's a fling insect this will cause the wings to became too heavy to lift off and you can kill it more easily) if the liquid is windex/hair spray,glass cleaner/ etc. it will kill the insect or weaken it enough to slow it down.

lol i needed help with this spider that just lives on my ceiling i have tried everything to get rid of him/her but it wont come off so my friend took a shoe and threw in at the spider and the spider jumped on her face then just started movin "around" it reached so many places that i told her to wash the spider off by takin a shower but the water was so hot that it burned the spider off!!! she had to take another shower because the spider left a gut surprise!!! LMAO =P
