From an outside source, I think Obama is doing a pretty good damn job considering what he was left with - Bush's shambles. The American economy has no way out of this mess it's in, and one man can't certainly pull it out of this death spin.
@payingwithfire Neither Obama nor Bush respect the Constitution. We will not have prosperity until we elect presidents and other government officials who respect the Constitution and reverse the trend toward big government.
Being the president of the US is the worst job in the world because whatever you TRY to do, there will be idiots out there who will give you shit for it, weather you deserve it or not. I personally don't quite agree with Obama's policies, I can at least applaud the guy for at least having the guts to TRY to fix the economy. Now will I vote for him again? Probably not. But he still has my respect regardless of what happens, because despite what the tea party says, the US is still doing fine.
stop the arguing the reason people voted for him isn't because he is black it's because if mccain was elected it would be like having another bush people voted FOR CHANGE
Obama used to be a terrorist?! People are still clinging to that belief? Wow. And as far is not being racist, Grapes428, how come you had to drop that "fried chicken on the table" comment? The guy has only been in office a few months, so at least wait a while before you say something about how he's doing his job. There's a lot to clean up, and it will take time. His job is the most difficult out of any president next to FDR.
The "fried chicken" comment, I think. If it wasn't your intention to be racist, then you should probably know that when you talk about a black man putting fried chicken on the table, somebody might misinterpret that statement.
Yeah, that was my point. Maybe you didn't intend to be racist. You mentioned fried chicken when talking about a black president. How do you not know that someone might take that the wrong way? That's all I was trying to say.
Also explain this to me. How do you go from 14 million African American voters in the 2004 election to 57 million in the 2008 election? Some true Americans we have. I am just talking about statistics, therefore it isn't racism. Out of all the people to choose from in Washington, they throw a black man in there who no one has heard of since 2006/2007 to steal the minority votes. Nobody cares that he used to be a terrorist either.
omg...i tottaly agre dudee i didnt know it went from 14 mil to 57 mil....thats freaking unbelivable dude...something needs to be done...it was a unfair election black people voted for him soly...because hes black....
People criticized Bush for doubling national debt, Obama already quadrupled that amount. Americans bought the whole "Change" idea. All he cares about is what happens on Wall Street. He has to do what he is told and work with a 10% approval rated Congress.
If people would just get over the fact that he is only an orator, all talk and not a Savior that will put fried chicken on the table. He just does what he does to get votes. He isn't even a Democrat, he is a liberal. All they want is power.
The people who don't like him have no good arguement against why he shouldn't be president. It's all about racism, if they would get over that, then there is no reason why he cannot be a great president.
Sorry, but you cannot just deem anyone who disagrees with the man's political views and plans a racist. Personally i like him as president but, come on. he's black. why is that such an issue,
just remember he's just another president, his skin tone doesn't make him faultless.
I am not racist....Barrack Obama is not qualified or competent to be president. He is ruining our economy and you fanatics still cling to his "Change" mantra.

I hear you. Really, the media is not supposed be clapping, but how could they resist. That moment was overwhelming. I was at home alone, I got so energized that I had to just walk out of my house, and my entire city was out there at that very moment. It was overwhelming. How could anybody resist the overwhelming desire to shout, clap, and celebrate? The uniting of the people is a powerful feeling. Recieving 53 percent of the popular vote is not a "The uniting of the people".
